Determine print needs for the First Half of 2001. Indicate packages/quantities by magazine on order form.

Return initial First Half gang print order to Bridget Higgins NO LATER than Monday, October 9th.

Detailed Information

Use the appropriate order forms (provided) to order all gang print materials.

Note: there are two separate order forms, one for #9 CRE/BREs, and the other for #10's and Shells (14").

As with 2000, we will continue splitting our order into two "halfs" - "First Half" will encompass January through July, and "Second Half" will cover August through December. This allows for more accurate ordering for the second part of the year. Although we're not ordering in "even" six month sections, this system worked very well in 2000 and resulted in more accuracy on orders and less leftover stock.

We will not formally meet again at mid-year. As with 2000, Second Half gang orders instructions will be submitted in May to meet a late June delivery date. Stock for the Second Half gang will be available for August 1 mail dates.

Please provide ALL requested information on the order forms -- none of the requested information is optional. Group by publication, and make additional copies of the order form as needed. Maintain a copy for your files.

Depending on warehouse inventories for a particular publication, ordered quantities may not "match". For example, if you are doing a mailing of 50M pieces, and have 20M carriers in stock, you'll order 50M shells, and only 30M carriers. In addition, for this particular mailing you may already have 28M CRE's in stock, so you'd only need to order 22M to mail it.

Do not break out CRE/BRE orders by project on the order form. Include only the total number you will need for 2001. There's no need to break out your CRE/BRE order by revers and new names - although you may do so if you wish.
