Mr. John Dannan serves as a Principal leading the Waste-to-Value team at Generate Capital. He has over 15 years of financial markets experience, including 10 years of lending and asset management experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors. Prior to joining Generate Capital, Mr. Dannan founded Energy & Infrastructure Capital, LLC (“EIC”), a Stamford based asset manager focused on debt investments. During this time EIC invested approximately $200 million in US energy and infrastructure debt on behalf of US and international investors. Prior to EIC, Mr. Dannan served as Vice President at Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management where he was responsible for investment strategy, capital raising and transaction execution. Prior to Deutsche, Mr. Dannan worked at Aladdin Capital Management’s Infrastructure Debt business, and Dresdner Kleinwort’s infrastructure financing, M&A and loan workout teams. Mr. Dannan received a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Economics with Accounting from Loughborough University, England. |

Max Vernier leads the Bioenergy Lending division at Live Oak Bank. He is dedicated to helping project developers attain the financing needed to fund innovation in the waste-to-energy, renewable fuels, bioproducts, and recycling industries. Max joined the bank in 2013 and has held positions as a business advisor, credit underwriter, and loan officer, originating SBA and USDA loans across the country. He graduated from Washington and Lee University with a B.A. in Economics and a double major in Spanish. |

Dr. Stuart Buckner is the president of Buckner Environmental Associates (BEA) which provides consulting services in organics management, food waste recovery, and integrated waste management solutions. His work in organics management includes composting, anaerobic digestion, odor control, organics recycling program development, and technology evaluation. His research has focused on composting system design, process optimization, and odor control. Dr. Buckner also provides professional services for conference & exhibition development and management. He has developed and managed nearly 20 national and international conferences. Dr. Buckner serves as Conference Chair for the Composting and Organics Recycling Conference Program and Food Recovery Forum at WasteExpo. He also develops webinars on organics and food waste topics and serves as the Organics Editor for Waste360. |
